Dr. Olsen is the owner of Canyon Veterinary Hospital, with special interests in geriatric medicine, dentistry, preventive care, and nutrition.
Raised in rural Eastern Oregon, Dr. Olsen earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. Matthew's University before relocating to the Bay Area.
She began her career in Sacramento and went on to build her clinical experience at practices in Campbell and Walnut Creek, and most recently at Boulevard Pet Hospital in Castro Valley. Throughout, she has remained guided by the compassion that first drew her to veterinary medicine. Today, she is proud to lead Canyon Veterinary Hospital, continuing its 50-year tradition of caring for the pets of Castro Valley.
Dr. Olsen is committed to building lasting relationships with the families she serves and to providing the highest standard of care for every patient.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys time with her husband, their four cats (Louie, Burfi, Stevie, and Frankie), and their pittie mutt, Harrie.
The furry family that keeps our owner busy after hours.
